Breaux Bridge, the great place God placed me (and where I have lived ALL my life) is a very quaint, friendly and hopping little town. I love living here but all to often get caught up in daily routines and don't take the time to enjoy and savor the many unique gifts it has to offer. Well....this weekend I took a couple of hours away from everything else and it was just me, GOD, my hometown, and thousands of tourists. It was the annual City Wide Garage Sale! I had a great time strolling the streets, checking out the little details of each item that caught my I. I may act as though I am a modern day DIVA but my soul is old and I love old...old with history and a story. Everything has a story to tell. One of my favorites is to flip through old books. What beauty........you can sometimes catch me bringing them up to my nose for a sniff.....eyes closed, faint smile....almost like a story being told in a matter of seconds. They don't make those like they use to........... Anyway, I had to keep focused on storage so I did not come home with books but did come home with this nice little find.....a banker's box. It even had items in it like key tags, gummed tabs, self piercing prongs and banker's pencils (think they are acid free? :) I noted the size was perfect for my Cricut cartridges and placed it just underneath the machine. What's a good find.....you have just gotta love it!
